31.07.26 I find it so interesting how many people immediately lash out at Emily Wilson's critique of Nolan's The Odyssey. What a bunch of snowflakes. Wilson's critique was valid, tame and even showed appreciation "Perhaps the film will persuade a few college administrators not to cut their literature, language and history departments. Nolan... is doing his best to get the general public reading again, and I am grateful.". People are not used to cricism. Ego are at an all time high and as a society, people are too binary (even for me as an autistic person). People are so quick to jump at Nolan's defence as if they created the movie... you can still appreciate and like a movie for it's cinematography and storytelling. What is art and media if it can not be critiqued? The media and audience reaction have been predicably bland and misogynistic. Branding Wilson as BITTER, SLAM and ATTACK. Just say what you actually think: that you think she is being hysterical (me when a woman isn't fitting in my gendered expectations *gasp*).

- IDK if I like Steve Lacy's new album 'Oh Yeah?'
- Tyla's new album A-Pop isn't my vibe... she's not helping her rep by working with an AI studio
- Lizzo's new album Bitch is banger. She is honestly underrated...
- Drake dropped 3 albums proving quantity over quality. Corny albums, corny artist. Mans 40 still singing about bitches and how they are missing out. Missing out on school. Wrap it up pedo.
10.07.26 I was watching South Park episode 5 Season 19 'Safe Space' and it got me thinking about privilege and ego. This recent week reminded me of the 'political correctness' debate. I mean, who is allowed to be right? Are policing beliefs/ ideas ethnical? We live in an imperfect world, yet we want everyone to be perfect and conform.

23.06.26 I was watching this video about socialisation and thought "huh, maybe its not me, its other people". And you know what? I also think it's because of the "nonchalant" trend. It's already really bad in Australia because of 'tall poppy syndrome', people here are already scared of being judged and trying hard. Now? That's kind of the norm and it piss me off. More labels to put people down for having fun or a personality like "LARP", "performative" or "acoustic". This is why people suck at socialising, they are scared of judgment so they don't try. Why is it normal to record strangers? It is really dystopian. If a person existence does not cause you harm then just leave them be. I always tell this to children (and they never listen). It's a perpetual cycle of antisocial behaviours.

The mining industry is the most exploitative industry. I stopped buying crystals in 2022 after learning more about how the mining industry displace people and land. Especially Indigenous communities who are the most disadvantaged. We all know "blood diamond" but it applies to other minerals as well. Congo was trending for a bit for the cobalt mining. I hate learned helplessness "everything is bad so I continue as normal"... well you can stop buying new tech every year, sign petitions and vote for better employment conditions. I guarantee you, your local mining company is just as bad as the ones overseas and it's always the same company.History nerd ?

15.4.26 this video is the reason why I share and highlight female protagonists in media. Something that kept with me for a long time is how male audiences are more likely to engage with female artists if she is percieved as attractive. I am a stern believer that media shape perceptions. The way social media branded young men who read feminist literatures as "performative" and shamed men who showed affection as "simps", I think, reflects a deeply prevailing macho sterotype. Anything feminine or feminine-affiliated is looked down upon, and one of the end result is lonely men (who are most likely victims to redpill culture). I even know women who do not like to consume media with female protagonists. We need more positive feminine representation in media.

Deeply devastating news report on the people who lived under the Islamic State.22.3.26 why I don't use grammar checking applications? If you notice my grammar SUCK or I am not being coherent, it's because I am NOT using autocorrect or autogrammar bots. STRAIGHT OFF MY NOGGING ONTO THE HTML FILE BAYYBEE!! If I can't spell something, I will search up the word, and I rely on the 2-3 grammar classes I had to take as an English student. My grammar would still suck because I am still human and English is my second language LOL I don't even read books (ok I do read textbooks and journal articles), I listen to them. I stopped using Grammarly because it is AI and it flag the system for markers as potentially AI. I also notice using Grammarly doesn't make my work better and it's annoying having to declare my use of AI in assesments. So yeah no Grammarly for me ^w^)7
