  • My first junk journal started in 2023. I have been slowly building this journal and it still feels incomplete. At the moment this journal is paused for my new 2026 journal! Not every page of the journal is showcased and personal details have been removed. If I missed anything please tell me!

  • Junk journal cover, visibility bloated. A postcard at the centre: 'Baking Diary' of a bakery with a big pretzel on top of the building and a sign ‘super delicious’ in cursive. Under the postcard are 5 packaging stickers (clear circles) and 2 barcode stickers. Top right are 3 bread-themed stickers: bread cat and 2 baguettes.
  • Spread of the front page. The left slide is the black cover with 4 candy sticks (left to right: pink, yellow, orange and blue) glued down. Below the candy sticks is a blank Polaroid cover, 'Welcome to Paradise' written, and to the right is an appointment card with 'Vy' in cursive written on it. The left side has the year the junk journal first started, ‘2023’ and a happy 21st birthday letter from a senator. The letter is decorated with stickers and more cursive lettering ‘Vy’, 2 small banner stickers and a hand-sewn felted white star.
  • Left side is a packaging of the milk candy girl ‘Milk’, a ‘wonderful’ red star sticker, strawberry candy wrapper, Chrome Industries guarantee QR code (all red) and a blue postcard of an anime girl in a blue rabbit-themed batik scarf. The right side is heavily collaged with turquoise, blue, purple and pink. There is one pink Baby-G sticker, a pink watch and a pink ‘Print is not dead’ sticker on top of a big blue Baby-G sticker. The green ‘feels good’ subway sticker is also on top of the blue Baby-G sticker and stands out from the pastel colours. Under it is a pink ‘I heart magazines’ sticker with more pink cut out of a packaging and Chikawa's head next to it. To the right is a motivational business card with blue and yellow star washi tape layered on top of red strawberries surrounded by ribbons. The top right is an illustration of a girl holding a clear heart with a Sony Angel baby wearing a Hello Kitty hat in the middle. All of these elements are layered in front of a paper theatre instructions paper.
  • Black and white spread. The left side has Japanese information papers pasted on top of an immunisation history paper. There is a black and white lamb, a skull with an Apple cord on top and small packaging stickers. The right side has a printed napkin and caricatures surrounding it. There are small black and white Joker cards stacked, label stickers and Jujutsu Kaisen blind box paper.
  • The left side is a hot pink and yellow spread with UHU superglue, packaging cardboard and a hot pink fabric ribbon tied and glued around the hook hole. Pasted on top are Beauty and the Beast stickers, 2 papaya stickers, cutout packaging of Disney-themed gummies, a row of Studio Ghibli official stickers (small circle with Totoro in the middle), a 50% coupon, a mermaid sticker, clownfish and Powerpuff Girls stickers. On the right is a green-themed spread with a ‘cacti succulents’ postcard and green collage from packaging. Notably more Studio Ghibli caricatures of the Totoro and scoot sprite. There are also green coloured washi tapes to fix elements, smiski, a cat openning its mouth and a bear.
  • The left side has stamps mostly from Australia: Australian animals (mountain pygmy possum, koala, platypus, eastern quoll and tiger egg cowrie), opals (pineapple opal and boulder opal) and collection stamps (buckle up 50 years and flower in envelope); along with two international stamps: Singapore and USA. The right side is a work-themed page with a Gong Cha mask, employer locker number, and Coldplay's sulavenger (blue paper glasses).

  • Spread with the 'Snuggle Hoodie' packaging as the centre. The packaging and colour are mostly grey and green, collaged with stickers, washy tapes, decorative paper stickers, and packaging stickers.
  • The left side is a yellow and brown-themed colour spread with yellow posted notes and stickers. Notably, there is the milk candy girl packaging, orange candy packaging, Donegal socks packaging (with the beach imagery), caricature stickers (cats, a sloth, a sumo wearing orange, a yellow chick lying on bread with egg as a blanket, Mob Psycho 100 and small reward stickers). The right side is a simple spread with the candy girl packaging dressed as a polar bear. There are light stamps from the candy sticks from the front page of the candy girl and boy faces, a blue Sydney sticker, a postcard of a girl in a denim dress posing, small pink hearts and smiling faces around her and a 'Pretty Tough' sticker.
  • Artist packaging spread bought from the artists’ stationery. The colour theme is pink, and tellow collaged with notably a lot of floral and dog caricatures. There is also a 'certificate of authenticity' with an artist business card on top connected by a strip of yellow floral washi tape.
  • Uncle Tetsu (bakery)spread caricature is a bald smiling guy with glasses, chef hat and white scarf. There are also small cut-outs of Kit Kat packaging, sumos and red-coloured hearts.
  • The left side has food packaging (Yuzu tea label, Guava and chilli salt candy and milk tea Kit Kat) pasted with the colours mostly green and blue. The right side is cute, floral, with the colour palette of grey, pink and green. There are collaged product packaging and small stickers of hearts, flowers and caricatures (Cardcapturer Sakura, Cinnamoroll fanart and a pink bunny lying on the moon).
  • The colour of this spread is blue and pink. The left side is an information paper 'Who do we bote to end indigenous deaths in custody', and the right is a pink blue dog bottle, Doraemon, and birds.
  • The right side is the milk candy girl wearing a honeydew hat. The left is the rest of the candy packaging of the girl inside a honeydew suit, Disney gummies and packaging of a cat lying down lamp. There are also small winter-themed stickers and a row of the same cat flag note on the side.
  • Blue spread collage with packaging materials, stickers and washi tapes. The caricatures seen are rabbits, Doraemon, Akyato from Genshin Impact, a sumo, a fox, pink hair girl wearing a blue flower dress, a sailor marshmallow, and a sailor girl.
  • Spread with the Junji Ito Funko Pop packaging box 'Yuuko'. There are yellow washi tapes with yellow Aus Post 'Express Post' tape with a yellow chick and yellow black and a restaurant happy birthday card.
  • Spread with brown and red packaging tapes, brown candle paper stickers, label and cut out from Hello Kitty packaging.
  • Hello Kitty spread with red, pink and blue themes. Decorated with strawberry box packaging, strawberry yoghurt, a prescribed ocatane box, small red food packaging tapes and stickers.
  • Purple-themed spread. On the left is a purple unicorn and a rainbow door tag 'Dreaming in process', two Japanese Cheese dessert packaging and food packaging with purple vegetables (orka, mushrooms, bamboo shoot, onions, potato , garlic, beans, carrot and eggplant) printed on brown paper. The right side has a purple artist business card, purple juice information label, 'ocean treasures' paper packaging sticker, boat and fish stickers, Pompompurin with a surfboard, ramen bowl, and paper that says 'Happy International Day Happiness! Share a smile today', Salvo price tag, and a postcard with trickets ‘actually life is long and I do have the time'.
