My ceeeedeeeezzz collection
I grew up watching DVDs so I have a nostalgic connection with these circular plastics. I started collecting because of the realisation that streaming platforms SUCK. I do not want to pay a subscription to listen to the only 10 songs I like to play, and I definitely do not want to give away my data for ads. Also, music discovery is now homogenised because of the algorithm. Artist or labels can pay streaming platforms to recommend their songs in more algorithms, so our algorithmic recommendations are not tailored to our musical taste. The only benefit to streaming music is convenience at the cost of our individualism (not to mention how AI is harmful and aren't as good as HI-Human Intelligence). HOWEVER, I still use Spotify to listen to new releases and I do not pay for their subscription (I don't like subscription models). Anyways, click or tap the titles on the right to see more information ^^)/ I listen to my C.Ds with Dunu Concept R (player) and Senheisser IE200 (earphones). Yes, I RIP C.Ds but I do not have a digital audio player YET. I would love to know your set-up if you have one ^w^)

Comment: I love me some Mariah Carey but Emancipation of Mimi is my most favourite discography with my JAM 'We Belong Together' and butter 'One And Only'. There's a reason why you barely see this album in second-hand shops. You wouldn't throw away treasure (looking at you Music Box... this album is everywhere).

Man I've thinking about it and like yeah I'm gonna sell the digisleeves. I don't listen to Mf Doom as much as I used to. This is what happens when I buy stuff based on nolstalgia- sometimes I grow out of things. I ripped them though hahah and I'm thinking of buying the Fiio Nano stick mp3 player thing. My data suck so bad and I use Soundcloud when I'm out so some stuff is locked behind membership plans. It's sooo annoying!!!
So yeah if you are in Australia and was thinking of buying 'Mm...Food', 'Piece by piece (OST)' and 'Igor', feel free to email me chilblands[at]gmail[dot]com. I can mail you and you can buy off me for cheap-ish price. IDK I think 10$ a pop is a good price but just email me to negotiate. It's very easy to hoard stuff when you're collecting. This is why physical media lost interest and streaming became a thing. I just want to keep what I like and rip the FLACs.
